5 Hut Trail in Ramsau am Dachstein
Directly from the 4-star Hotel Rösslhof, you can embark on a day adventure that perfectly combines nature, panoramic views, and regional delicacies. The circular hiking trail leads you through idyllic alpine meadows, past imposing rock faces, and through shady forests.
Walking time is approximately 4 to 5 hours, depending on pace. The trail is family-friendly and well signposted.
STATION 1: The first place to stop for refreshments is the Glösalm – known for its magnificent view of the south face and the fluffiest curd strudel far and wide.
STATION 2: Onwards to the Austriahütte, directly at the foot of the Dachstein – here you can expect a historical atmosphere and hearty snacks.
STATION 3: The third station is the Maralm, where you will be served fresh buttermilk and homemade pastries – all prepared with love.
STATION 4: Next comes the idyllically situated Südwandhütte, a true place of power with a panoramic terrace and delicious Kaiserschmarrn.
STATION 5: Finally, the Walcheralm awaits, perfect for a last fortification with hearty home cooking and a schnapps as a reward.
